She has undergone training throughout her whole career and is a full member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association. Patricia can help with most general training and behaviour issues. She has experience training puppies, teaching scent training, tracking, dealing with anxiety, aggression, basic obedience, issues around resource guarding, excessing barking, fussy eating, neurotic behaviours, rescue dogs, problems with family members, other pets, the list is endless.
On occasion Patricia will refer to other professionals in the industry to assist with areas like gundog training or agility, as working with others can enhance the outcome for your dog.
Patricia also works closely with vets, to ensure there is a 3 way conversation, between you, the owner, the behaviourist and the vet.
All behaviour consultations include a pre-consultation questionnaire and report as standard, and support following the session. This means that Patricia is prepared and ready when she arrives at your home, she has an understanding of your issues and has done any groundwork and research needed, saving valuable time. Patricia will be looking at all aspects of your dog’s life, because there is often multiple factors that feed into any dog behaviour issues. She is very keen to know everything about your dog, from the food it eats to the exercise it gets to any trauma it has suffered.
Although Patricia is a dog trainer from Harlow, she can travel for about an hour in any direction. She also conducts Zooms where the session is recorded and sent to you afterwards. She has worked with people from all over the world including Australia and America.
