Choose your Dream

What do you dream of being able to do most with your dog? What do you see other dogs doing, and wish you could do the same with your dog? I recognise this issue is really common so I created Be More Dog Dreams, where your dreams can become a reality and you can do the things you have always wanted to do with your dog. Be More Dog Dreams are for all dogs and all owners and will get you to a much better place, where your dreams come true.

Dreams cost between £75-100 per hour, and the number of hours needed really depends on you and your dog, how severe the issues are and how long they have been going on for. If you pick more than one Dream you will receive a 10% discount on your overall booking.

Most dogs can achieve these Dreams with the right guidance. For some dogs, the problems might be severe so the results may be limited, but improvements will still happen, putting you closer to your dreams than you were before. I have never met a dog that cannot be helped in some way and most dogs can improve greatly, with the right guidance and your commitment.

Coffee Shop Calm

You probably want to be able to take your dog to a cafe, and have it settle happily next to you while you enjoy some food and company. This is what most people dream of most. A confident, balanced dog can do this and a confident, knowledgeable handler can achieve it.

Lovely Loose Lead

Everyone wants their dog to walk nicely on a lead without pulling and dragging. Walking close to you and connected to you on your walk is the dream. You stop, your dog stops. Your dog doesn’t weave all over and dart from left to right, you walk as a unit in tune with each other.

Reliable Recall

It’s amazing to have your dog off lead and to trust it around other dogs and distractions. There is no better feeling than giving your dog this freedom to explore and feel free. You’ll no longer have people shouting at you “come and get your dog”, your dog will come when it is called.

Bringing Home Baby

You are pregnant or planning for a baby. Your dog isn’t great with kids, or hasn’t met them before. You want them to get along well and for the baby to be safe and live in harmony with your new addition. You want your baby to grow up learning how to interact properly and for there never to be any reason why you have to rehome your dog.

Visitors Welcome

You want people to come and visit you at home. You’d like your guests to be able to sit down without being pestered, jumped on or bitten by your dog. You’d like your dog to say hello to your friend then chill with a chew while you socialise.

Say Hello Nicely

Sniff that dog that’s just come over, have a little greeting, be pleasant, don’t lunge or snap or bite, and don’t get too boisterous. Don’t rush up to dogs impolitely, be a gent or a lady, make me proud, and come away when I call you so we can carry on with our walk.

Calm Around Dogs

Walking nicely past dogs on the street, either ignoring them or having a quick sniff. Being social in the park, not aggressive, not starting fights, not charging at dogs. Maybe you don’t mix with other dogs, but you are able to ignore them and mind your own business so you can walk your walk without drama.

Household Manners

A well-mannered dog that lets you eat in peace, asks permission to get on furniture, lets you move it off the sofa if needed, will wait at doors and doesn’t barge into you, spilling your coffee and getting in your grill while you try and WFH.

Hooray For Humans

Human aggressive dogs that bite or want to bite can trust again. They don’t feel the need to try and make humans go away. The trauma or the possessiveness is not an issue anymore and the muzzle can come off.

No Fear

Those things that trouble your dog like the washing machine, fireworks, traffic, men in high viz etc., aren’t that scary after all and your dog can cope with them because it is confident and it trusts you implicitly. Life is easier, less stressful and your dog is relaxed.

Share and Share Alike

Resource guarding is no longer controlling your life. You can leave things lying around, drop things on the floor, have someone give you a hug. You are able to relax in your own home and have strategies and training in place so things improve greatly.

Best Friends Forever

Your two dogs that were once fighting are now friends again. You no longer need to live in a prison where you separate and worry about gates being left open. Your dogs are like how they used to be and you can keep them both without having to choose which one to rehome.

Kids Around Dogs

Cynophobia is the fear of dogs and canines in general. Cynophobia is classified as a specific phobia, under the subtype “animal phobias”. These sessions can help with children (and adults!) scared of dogs and to create positive relationships between children and dogs.

KAD – Kids Around Dogs is an award winning association of Dog Professionals and Child Care Professionals who specialise in helping families with children to train their dogs and live in harmony together. My listing can be found at https://kidsarounddogs.co.uk/pages/trainer-directory

The course is split into 10 sessions, 7 are done remotely and 3 are done face to face. The cost is £375 and travel charges may apply.

Remote support

£75 per hour
Zoom or telephone consultations are for those owners who live too far away to meet for a one to one consultation or for those issues where a home visit is not necessary. I will take an initial assessment before deciding if your problems can be worked with over the telephone. Some problems will need to be seen face to face and I will not take telephone bookings unless I feel I can help. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

I have a number of online courses available for £20 each, which allows for unlimited access to the content.
